Tenant Repair Reporting Guidelines

At LASTRA Property Group, we are committed to ensuring your home remains safe, secure, and in optimal condition throughout your tenancy. As a tenant, it is your responsibility to report any necessary repairs promptly so that appropriate action can be taken without delay.

Reporting Repairs

  • Managed Properties:
    Please report all repair issues directly to LASTRA Property Group.
  • Non-Managed Properties:
    If your property is not managed by LASTRA Property Group, you must report repairs directly to the landlord. The landlord’s contact details would have been provided to you at the start of your tenancy.

How to Report a Repair

  • Non-Urgent Repairs:
    Please email info@lastrapropertygroup.com with full details of the issue.
  • Emergency Repairs:
    Email info@lastrapropertygroup.com and immediately call 0208 050 7271 to ensure the issue is addressed as quickly as possible.

Information to Include in Your Report

To assist us in resolving the issue efficiently, please include the following in your email:

  • A clear description of the problem
  • Photographs and/or videos of the issue (strongly recommended)
  • If applicable, the make, model, and type of any faulty appliance
  • Your full property address, including postcode
  • Your full name and contact details

Access for Repairs

Please indicate in your email whether:

  • You authorise access to the property in your absence, or
  • You wish to be present when the repair is inspected or carried out

Health and Safety Notice

If anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) or is currently undergoing testing, you must inform LASTRA Property Group immediately so that appropriate safety measures can be observed.

Repairs Handbook

At the start of your tenancy, you would have received a copy of the Repairs Handbook from LASTRA Property Group. This document contains detailed guidance on how to manage and respond to common repair issues, including what to do in the event of an emergency.
